Let's Recap!

I've been waiting for so long to get the momentum going on in updating my blog. Why?

  • Being a student with married status was emotionally challenging in which I had to bear with it for about two months (only). No time for blog writing, just thesis writing.
  • Knowing that I'm pregnant when I was sitting for my final exam was cool especially when "morning sickness" attacked (luckily I did not vomit in the hall). Enjoyed sleeping more than writing. But I did not sleep during the exam.

Hubby + Wifey + Lil Baby (6 months' pregnancy) during my Master's Convocation

  • Happily celebrated the joyous moments of my sister's wedding and became more energetic when it came to shopping.

Congrats, dear sister! =)

  • Ramadhan month! Fasting month! Yes, I knew it and I've managed to fasting for 3 weeks as my baby was born a week before Syawal (unexpected, I was at 37 weeks of pregnancy).
  • Confinement - Nothing that I can do much at this time as I'm fully breastfeeding my baby and I've spent most of my time with him (minimum interaction with other gadgets).

Mama + Papa + Baby MIH

  • Job hunting started so I put a lot of effort on finding suitable jobs for me (in need to earn extra money). Went to some interviews and Alhamdulillah, after about a year unemployed, finally I've secured a job near to my house yeayyyy!

A year to update a single entry with lots of excuses?! Why??

Haha!

Stop being lazy but don't stop respecting your mother.

The end. Thank you! =)

Privacy

I would like to touch on the issue of privacy as I think it is one of the vital parts in one's life. Who doesn't need privacy? Even though we are living with other people in this world, there are things that we can't let others know especially something that we value as personal or sensitive. We need privacy when we feel that everybody is bothering and clinging around us at the wrong time and place. We need privacy when we found that everybody is talking about our personal matters. Other than that, we might also feel that our privacy is intruded if our private stuffs such as personal diary, text messages, or even letters in the PO box are being read by others without us knowing it at the first place.

It's true that we can have as many friends as we want, we can share as many things as we want and we can go anywhere that we want. Simply said, we can do anything that we want = It's OUR lives. But have we ever thought that we are living on a planet with people around us? It's a simple thought yet it's quite difficult to interpret the meaning behind 'living with others'. When we are alone in this world, we can consider ourselves as having the greater privacy ever. No one will read our personal diary, no one will browse through our phones, no one will read our letters and no one will ever bother about us. But this is not happening in this world where we are living with others. Some of the people out there are not even concern about privacy issue. As for them, nothing is privacy in this world.

So, what can we do to make sure that we can still have our own little privacy?

There are many reasons for a person to claim that his or her privacy as a serious matter. As for me, I think privacy is something that is controllableIf we think that our personal life is meant to be kept as private:

  • We should limit the amount of disclosure that we are going to share with others.

  • We also need to know who is the person that we can trust to share those private information so that our private life will not be revealed, exposed or even manipulated by others easily.

  • We need to ensure that the medium of sharing those personal issues is highly trusted for its confidentiality.

Being selective and secretive gives no harm to those who really want privacy in their lives.

The end. Thank you! =)

Cuka & Garam

The end. Thank you! =)

Welcome 2012 =)

2012 is not only a number,
2012 is not only a year,
But 2012 is an opportunity, a life opportunity!

When we are talking about new year, there must be lists of resolutions, hopes, wills and etc. Everybody seems so excited to welcome 2012 with the hope that 2012 will bring better experiences than 2011. As for me, regardless any years that I will be going through or went through, every year is considered as special.

In 1986, I was born...

Being the second child in the family gives me the opportunity to experience the special feeling of having an elder sister & being a sister to a younger sister & a little brother.

I had successfully graduated back in 2009...

After years of schooling (inclusive of kindergarten, primary, secondary, pre-degree & degree years), I was so proud to be given the opportunity to wear a graduation robe, to hold a scroll of my selected Degree and to experience the special moment of being a graduate at least once in my lifetime.

I was employed in 2009 as well...

This was the day when I first introduced myself to the whole company that I worked for. It was a great opportunity for me as I got the chance to experience working life myself even for a short period of time.

Got engaged in 2010...

It was the day when I started to feel a real commitment in a relationship. Being engaged to a person that I love so much is special.

Being accepted in a Master's Degree course also in 2010...

It was an unexpected opportunity, I suppose but somehow I am thankful to my friend, Imah for her help and also my parents for their financial support and most of all, I am thankful to Allah for this opportunity.

Ended 2011 with a blessed marriage...

Alhamdulillah...

My previous years of living were filled with special events and moments which made me think of how meaningful it is to be given a life opportunity from 1986 until this very moment of 2012. I do not even know whether I will be given another life opportunity in 2013 but I do believe that what has been given by Allah now is the most special gifts I have ever had. Thank you, Allah... =)

The end. Thank you! =)

Ada Sebabnya...

October is a busy month for me. After 3 months of relaxing, I am now struggling hard to finish my study by early 2012, Insya Allah. I feel stressed out by the due date for my Master's Project as it will be a month after I got married. Yes, I knew it. I thought I can handle it before, but I could not. Suddenly, I keep on complaining about WHY, WHY & WHY. Why must I get married at this age? Why can't I finish my study first? Should I postpone the wedding? I feel annoyed with all the questions and most of all, I feel annoyed with myself, seriously. My Darling Fiance encourages me to stay strong and be patient. He said, "Kalau study tu mudah, senang nak score, tak ada apa yang nak dibanggakan. Tapi, sebab you bersusah-susah, then you score, tu yang buatkan you ni special".

(peringatan untuk diri sendiri: beauty would not last forever)

Kerana mungkin jika dia beristeri dua...
(peringatan untuk bakal suami: i love you so much & i do not want to share you with others, thank you)

Wallahualam...

Setiap yang berlaku pasti ada hikmahnya...

The end. Thank you! =)

Goodbye Teddy Bears!

My dad came into my room just now and started looking into my wardrobe and drawers. He was searching for more teddy bears in my room as he had already thrown all the teddies from Kak Ili's room before and some of Wanie's (without us noticing it). I asked him why and he said, "Malaikat Rahmat tak masuk rumah kalau ada teddy bear ni tau! Tak elok simpan, buang semua". I told him that I got no more teddies with me, but maybe Wanie still keep them in her wardobe. Later, I cleaned up my wardobe and I found more and more teddy bears!

Got it recently on my convocation. I thought of hanging it in my car, but I do not own one. So, goodbye... =(

McD's collections --> teapot, dolphin, sheep & Mr Incredible. The tiny yellow one was given by my neighbour. Finally, the cute lil' pooh mermaid which I love so much and I named it as "Yeo Chong Po" (Yeo - Watak Ken in Marmalade Boy; Chong Po - Watak Hero dalam cerita cina yang selalu tengok dekat asrama setiap petang). Keep them?? I wish I can... =(

These are not teddy bears, these are pillows. Old school ni ~~~ But what can I do with them?? They are not comfy to sleep on. Let them go... =(

Wanie's favourite! I bought her the kuma-kuma at One Utama. And the teddy bears --> she used to sleep with them even until secondary school.

Finally...

My 23rd birthday gifts...

How can I get rid of such a big huggable pinky teddy just like that?? =(

There are 23 of them! I do not have the guts to throw them away... ='(

I told my mom that I want to keep some of my teddies and asked her not to tell anyone especially my dad. I was not satisfied. I browsed through the internet and found this video by Ustaz Kazim. Alahaiii...

So, the answer is final.

THROW ALL THE TEDDY BEARS AWAY!
I asked my dad, "Kalau nak kasi orang, boleh tak??". He answered, "NO!"

Okay, goodbye, teddy bears. Semoga Malaikat Rahmat dapat masuk rumah kami, Insya Allah...

The end. Thank you! =)

Surprises!

Let's start my entry with Syukur, Alhamdulillah!

Why? Coz I have got the chance to celebrate my 25th birthday this year on the 1st Syawal 1432H. =) I am very happy that Allah had granted me with such a great opportunity to treasure the moments of birthday celebration and Eid Mubarak at one time.

My family & I had our first Raya at Penang; my mom's hometown. After Zohor prayer, Kak Ili said, "Nana, tahun ni kan macam tahun bajet, orang beraya pun semua berbajet, duit raya pun bajet, so ni hadiah untuk tahun ni".

*surprised* =)

Thank you so much for the lovely gift!

Actually I did not expect to receive any gifts from anyone as Allah has given me the best birthday gift ever; to stay alive up until today! Thank you, Allah! =) Later, when we went back to JB, I found this on my bed!

From the handwriting, I guess it is Kak Ili's. So, I quickly opened it!

Another surprise!

ANNA SUI Perfume yang besar punyer! Bajet la sangat...

I love surprises like this! Thanks a lot, Ayah, Ibu, Kak Ili, Wanie & Hakam for everythingLove you guys! Mmmuuaahh! =D
